Dinosaurs disappeared 65 million years ago, having reigned during the Mesozoic, from the middle of the Triassic, for 166 million years. What causes the extinction of dinosaurs? The hypothesis most supported by scientists is that of the fall of an enormous meteorite, which would have caused such a cataclysm that it would have followed a mass extinction of many animal and vegetable species. But other causes are studied, such as the involvement of volcanoes or biological phenomen.
